Section 01

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using any service offered by SELANDIA — including our website, WhatsApp chatbot, inquiry forms, booking services, or any digital communication — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client" or "You") and SELANDIA ("We", "Us", "Company"), registered and operating from SELANDIA ISA Pvt Ltd. 1st Floor, Gomadathu Complex, opp. Private Bus Station, Old Mavelikkara, Mavelikara, Kerala 690101 Branch: 45/1818, 2nd floor, Daliya Arcade, NCC Road, Thalassery,Kannur, Pin: 670101.

⚠️ Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using our services, website, and chatbot. Continued use constitutes acceptance of all terms herein.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The latest version is always available at this page.

Section 02

Services Provided

SELANDIA provides travel-related services including but not limited to:

ℹ️ Agency Role: We act as an intermediary between you and airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel service providers. The final service is delivered by third-party vendors. We facilitate the booking; we are not the ultimate service provider.

Services are subject to availability. All bookings are confirmed only upon full payment and issuance of a booking confirmation reference number from us.

Booking & Payment Policy

3.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after full or agreed partial payment is received and a written confirmation (via WhatsApp, email, or receipt) is issued by SELANDIA. Verbal confirmations do not constitute a binding booking.

3.2 Pricing
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹). Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed and payment is received. Airline fares, hotel rates, and package costs may fluctuate due to seasonal demand, availability, and vendor pricing changes.

A service fee / consultation charge may apply in addition to the ticket or package price. This will be communicated clearly before payment is collected.

🚫 No Refund Policy: Once payment is made and a booking is confirmed, our service charges and consultation fees are strictly non-refundable. Refunds from airlines, hotels, or tour operators are subject solely to their respective cancellation policies and are beyond our control.

3.5 Third-Party Payments
Payments made directly to airlines, hotels, or other vendors are governed by those vendors' terms. We are not responsible for any disputes arising from direct payments to third parties.

Section 04

Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Client-Initiated Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, you must inform us in writing via WhatsApp or email. The following applies:

4.2 Cancellation by Vendor
In the event of cancellation by an airline, hotel, or tour operator due to operational reasons, we will facilitate the refund as per the vendor's process. We are not liable for delays in refund processing by third-party vendors.

4.3 Force Majeure
In events beyond our or the vendor's control — including natural disasters, pandemics, government travel bans, strikes, or acts of war — cancellations will be handled per vendor policy. Our service fees remain non-refundable.

⏱️ Refund Timeline: Approved refunds from airlines and hotels are transferred to your original payment method within 7–45 working days, depending on the vendor and payment mode. We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.

Travel Documents & Responsibility

5.1 Your Responsibility
It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you possess valid travel documents including:

We offer visa assistance as a support service only. We do not guarantee visa approval — this is solely at the discretion of the respective embassy or consulate. Visa fees paid to consulates are non-refundable regardless of outcome.

⚠️ Denied Boarding / Entry: SELANDIA is not liable for any loss incurred due to denied boarding, visa rejection, immigration refusal, or failure to carry valid documentation. It is the traveller's sole responsibility to verify all entry requirements before travel.

5.3 Name on Documents
All traveller names provided for bookings must exactly match the names on government-issued photo ID. We are not responsible for booking failures or denied boarding caused by name discrepancies.

Section 06

Limitation of Liability

SELANDIA acts as a travel agent and intermediary. Our maximum liability to you in any situation shall be limited to the service fees actually paid to us for the specific booking in question.

💡 Our Recommendation: We strongly advise all travellers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and personal liability. We can assist you in arranging suitable coverage.

Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal information solely for the purpose of providing travel services to you. Data collected includes your name, contact number, email address, travel preferences, and location (where voluntarily shared via our chatbot).

Your personal data is used exclusively to:

Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Conversation transcripts from our chatbot are stored in an encrypted database and are automatically deleted after 90 days. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

7.3 Applicable Law
We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Amendment) Act, 2008, Section 43A regarding reasonable security practices, and applicable provisions of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023.

7.4 Location Data
Location information shared through our WhatsApp chatbot is used only to identify your nearest service point or to complete location-based service requests. It is not tracked continuously or shared with third parties.

WhatsApp Chatbot & Digital Services

Our WhatsApp chatbot and website inquiry bot are automated tools designed to collect your travel enquiry details and connect you with our team. By using these tools, you agree to:

Conversation data collected through the chatbot is treated as described in Section 7. We may review chat logs for quality assurance and fraud prevention purposes.

User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree that you will:

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and digital platforms — including text, images, logos, itineraries, pricing structures, and software — is the property of SELANDIA or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from our platforms without our prior written consent. Personal use for reference and booking purposes is permitted.

Section 11 — Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically the laws applicable in the state of Kerala.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms, our services, bookings, payments, or refunds shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Thalassery, Kannur District, Kerala, India.

By using our services, you irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Thalassery, Kannur, Kerala, and waive any objection to the laying of venue in such courts.
